President's Day 2024

Our president, Joyce Youngman, organised a super afternoon with terrific entertainment, followed by a delicious afternoon tea. 

Jane Hoggar had us all captivated with the amazing story of how she became a Bluebell Girl, dancing at the Lido de Paris on the Champs Elysees.  

Joyce's chosen charity was LILAC,and Gaye Youngman (Chair and Co-founder of Lilac) explained all about this incredible organisation and the great work that they do.

Additionally, we also hosted a Halloween themed coffee morning. There was interesting memorabilia including medals and photo albums dating back to the 1950s!

Brenda Tubb, created some beautiful arrangements, whilst regaling us with many amusing stories.  It was a wonderful, fun and well supported event, raising more money for LILAC.
